skrytý text a postihy

ahoj, na webu mám nějaké skryté texty (css visible) a po kliknutí na tlačítko zobrazit se to zobrazí (přes js). Přibližně 1/3 - 1/4 textů jsou takto skryté. Pro uživatele by to mělo být užitečné, aby tam toho nebylo moc, ale nevím jak to berou vyhledávače. Je někde stanoveno povolené množství skrytých textů?

If you are hiding blocks like tabs etc it's OK ( uplne! ) no matter of the ratio. If this is for the real users, for the purpose of showing only what is needed and not showing the rest, is OK, again.

But!

If you are hiding text with the purpose of inflating links and/or keyword stuffing you're getting yourself FUBAR'ed.

However, how does for example Google determine who will be FUBARed (:D) and who won't?

Ahoj :)

Usually, what happens is :

there are automatic filters that trigger alerts;
the sites of question are sorted out;
sooner or later ( sooner than one would like ) a person manually checks it. They come ( usually the ISP marker you would see in the log file is something like "Google Inc, Mountain View California" ) visit your site, view it through browser, compare it with the source code and decide whether to apply real punishment or remove you from the alert databases.

Had many of them come along ;) but never get punished.
