Development manager

The Candidate

It’s a busy time at Lineup. We are winning new business faster than any other company in our sector, we are growing in size and we are constantly striving to achieve more. As a consequence, we are looking for a high performing experienced professional who has a track record of driving constant innovation in new and existing products. The ideal candidate, working alongside the CEO and Operations Director, will be responsible for the management of the entire development capability of Lineup. This key role is central to Lineup and requires constant working closely with all of our developers, architects, Q/A, support, and deployment teams, to create the best possible products to support the high growth of Lineup and achievement of its goals.

Detailed Role Description

Full ownership of the development teams and product delivery within the business
Communicate with the global operational teams and product managers to collect and manage all development requests
Receive and help balance the development priorities
Work with the operational teams for all product managers to clarify any open questions to keep developers moving forward on development
Management of the strategy and execution of the quality assurance teams
Line Management of the support teams
Responsible for all SOC audits related to development processes and procedures
Recruitment of all development, support, and Q/A staff
Success planning for all development, support, and Q/A teams
Management of the sprint setup, execution and change processes

Experience Required

5+ years development management experience
10+ years software development experience
Experience of developing web-based applications using modern development tools (such as Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server)
Proven track record of developing and executing on successful development strategies
Proficient in creating, managing, and measuring Agile development teams
Proven, results-oriented leader with a history of guiding and motivating highly skilled and fast-paced development teams
Excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to develop positive relationships with other departments
Must be able to influence, command respect, demonstrate presence, project confidence, and most importantly, be a strategic partner
Experience working high growth SME companies an advantage
Media sales industry experience an advantage

Requirements

Must be fluent in Czech and English
Office-based role in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic
Must be a team player and customer centric
This position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites globally (15%)
